This show took place on Emily's birthday - her first birthday with the band since officially joining!
Linkin Park's From Zero countdown timer of 10 minutes took place before the band went on stage. The timer did not count back up. In celebration of Emily's birthday that day, the pre-show song was 'Weatherman' by Dead Sara.
Right before "Somewhere I Belong" kicked off, Mike said, "Raleigh, it's nice to see you again," like how he kicked off the launch show in September 2024.
Joe chilled onstage during Mike's solo medley and took photos of the crowd.
Mike went into the crowd during the extended transition of his solo medley. After giving his hat (signed by the whole band) to a fan and reading their sign, he rapped the demo verse of "Lift Off" from Post Traumatic. This is the first time a song from Mike's solo material has been played in a Linkin Park set.
After his solo medley, Mike said, "I'd love to play the next song, but unfortunately for Emily..." as a cake was brought out. The band and the crowd sang 'Happy Birthday' to Emily.
"IGYEIH" was performed live for the first time in the heavy rotation slot. Emily went fully into the crowd during the bridge and ran through the pit.
grandson came out for "One Step Closer" again, this time coming out during the intro of the song and singing the second verse. Mike introduced him on the start of the song.
Mike played the riff of "One' by Metallica on synth over the extended intro of 'Overflow".
After "Overflow", Emily said, "There's no place I'd rather be on my birthday than playing here with you guys. This is fucking awesome, thank you guys."
Mike had a fan pick a number between 1 and 4 to decide what style Colin would play the "Numb" intro in. The fan picked 3, which was the "prog rock" style.
Emily messed up the final chorus of "Faint", singing the "Time won't heal!" line too early.
"From The Inside" returned to the encore rotation after switching with "A Place For My Head" in Baltimore. Mike's mic cut out for the first part of the first pre-chorus.
The crowd started chanting Emily"s name before 'Bleed It Out", which Joe joined in on drums. Emily remarked, "that was a... weird drum beat." Joe continued playing with Colin's drums during the song.
Mike rapped verse one of "A Place For My Head" over the extended bridge of "Bleed It Out"
Debuts
"IGYEIH" was performed live for the first time. With this, every song from the base From Zero album has been performed live. This makes it the first album since Minutes To Midnight to have been performed in its entirety (barring the intro track).
Other Notes
This show was announced on November 14, 2024 with the From Zero World Tour, exactly 27 years to the day of the band's first Xero show in 1997.
Linkin Park's last show in Raleigh took place on July 25, 2008.
Fans reported hearing the band soundcheck "IGYEIH" (never played before this show), "Stained", and "From The Inside" while lined up for the "Overflow" VIP package.

Artist Bio: Australian husband-and-wife visual artists, DABSMYLA, employ a shared design language that dictates subject matter, positioning, color theory and perspective. With this established framework and unspoken set of rules- strengthened by over a decade of working together simultaneously - their singular goal is to tell an expansive story that is wholly unique to their own experiences. Panorama is of particular importance in DABSMYLA’s work. Micro points-of-view get referenced in larger scopes of vision – creating an interconnectedness amongst paintings both big and small.
Much in the same way a person unlocks a greater eye-scope as they lessen the zoom on a camera, one gets the understanding that a solitary subject is in fact but a minuscule element that makes up larger and recurring motifs. There is nothing random or erroneous in DABSMYLA’s work; it’s planned and executed with the precision of a diamond heist and with the charm of a Technicolor world.
DABSMYLA enhance their works with immersive environments that enhance the sense of whimsy and grandeur contained inside paintings, mixed media and sculpture. This milieu isn’t simply adornment, but rather the tangible foundation for which everything else stands upon. It’s this warmth and willingness to share which makes DABSMYLA’s art completely unique. Exploring tactile themes through sight, touch and sound, there are no boundaries so that the lines between real life and dreamscape are non-existent.
