Show Notes
- The "Fort Minor Medley" is a mid-set mashup of verses from You Lose, Megadef, and "Bleach" by Styles Of Beyond, Tak's verse from "Respect 4 Grandma" (Fort Minor) and two original verses by Mike.
Other Notes
- This was Fort Minor's first American show. It was a private show at The Mansion. The band had to fly immediately from London the day before in order to make it to this show on time. Fort Minor performed between Legend and the headliner Black Eyed Peas.
- The LP Underground gave away ten pairs of tickets to fans. The show was 21+.
- Funny enough, as soon as the band finished, Jay-Z walked in the back door, having missed their set.
- According to the crew itinerary, the band had tried to book another Miami show for the public on the 29th so they had stayed in Miami for two extra days. The show ended up not happening.
- Mike and LilJon produced the music for the show, which is the first time that MTV has ever had artists produce music for the VMAs.
