Show Notes

  • Joe Hand, the Pro Tools engineer the band worked with for "My December", was at the show. According to an interview with him by LPAssociation, he says Mike and Chester dove into the crowd at the end of the show and crowdsurfed their way back to the stage to play the last song (likely "One Step Closer").

Other Notes

  • Linkin Park received a request to record a song for a KROQ charity album on October 4. The day before this show, the band spent a day at The Loft in Nashville to record "My December". The song was sent over on October 10 and KROQ debuted it the next day. This is the only time that a Linkin Park song has been completely recorded outside of Los Angeles. Mike mentioned that Elvis had also recorded at the studio.
